Inquirer’s Class – July 2025
| Join us for Adult Ed in July as we explore the Christian faith and practice in The Episcopal Church Sundays at 11:00 a.m. in the Parish Hall July 6th: Scripture and the Early Church. Scripture not only tells the story of God and humanity, but reveals the early history of the Church and its mission. Learn more about how Anglicans interpret scripture and apply it to our lives today. July 13th: The Reformation, England and the American Revolution. The fascinating history of The Anglican Church and its American expression in The Episcopal Church. July 20st: Getting to know God: Anglican Spirituality and PracticesWhether it’s traditional worship and music, or ancient contemplative practices, the breadth and depth of Anglican devotional practice offers something for everyone. Learn more about what we mean by “sacraments” and the richness of our tradition of devotional practices. July 27th: The Church in Action at St. Thomas: Welcome and Outreach St. Thomas aspires to be both a welcoming congregation and an outward facing one, taking the love of Christ to our neighbors here in the Wood River Valley and beyond. Come discuss the ways in which welcome and service are an essential part of our spiritual lives. |
